Weathering All Storms

Hey there beautiful people? Hope y’all are keeping up well. I have been striving to be well also, even though in this blog I am going to talk about hardships. As they say nothing worthy in life comes easy, and I would wholeheartedly agree.

As would all of you. You see when we were kids we all wanted to score good marks and we could only do so because we studied hard, and all of this holds true in every aspect of life. Be it your professional life, personal life or fitness. You gotta be skilled and grind hard before you get there.

We all have to learn how to weather all storms, fight battles, being defeated, being rejected, but still never giving up. They say that there is light at the end of the tunnel, yes, there is. I’d like to take this opportunity to showcase those times when I too had to face many problems.

Those days I dreamt of getting a higher salary than I was fetching and in another city, but no one would oblige. I am not exaggerating but I ‘d guess that I had faced around 150–200 rejections before I landed an offer. Most people would just plain laugh at me, but I never ever stopped believing in myself, and today I am standing before you, perhaps because I chose to fight it out, weather all storms and not give up.

Those were the days when I would continuously hit rock bottom, would rise two steps and then get hit again, but I chose to stick around. It was like I had dared myself and fed this thing inside of me that I can handle this stuff, it’ll all be fine in due course, till then I just have to hold on.

And, I did. Even though the path wasn’t easy, still it was worth it, as all those episodes of failures and hardships have taught me to be a better person and an efficient worker. One who is unafraid of all circumstances, one who knows her worth, and one who will not settle for anything less than her capabilities.

No matter how many mountains she has to climb, battles she has to fight, or misunderstandings she has to deal with, she will make it work and not rest till then.
