Moving On: Is It So Easy?

Hey fellas, how is everyone holding up? I sincerely hope everyone is fine, and enjoying a good Friday so far. So, today I thought of giving a little break to my book writing exploits and thoughts of sharing my thoughts with y’all about moving on. Now, y’all might be wondering why am I suddenly talking about moving on on a random Friday morning.

Actually I have to say that the reason is nothing personal, yet a lot of times in life unexpected things happen to us just when we think that everything is going right. You might have dreamt of buying a house since you probably saved up a lot, and all of a sudden you get to know that your company doesn’t need you anymore. Now, you are back to square one again!

Or maybe you are all set with your career, and everything is working wonders for you, when you discover your parents falling ill. You curse yourself not knowing how that could have happened to you when everything was going fine, yet there you are. What do you do now? Can you afford to be depressed, let alone depressed, can you afford to cry at the time when you do need yourself the most?

What do you do? What options has life left in front of you? Would you give up this time? No, you won’t. Because you haven’t so far and you will not this time, instead just try moving on. Sounds easy, right? But isn’t it goddamn difficult? Hell yes, it is and of course it’s meant to be difficult, perhaps that is precisely why so few actually make it…

Now, what’s the deal with this moving on? And how can you move on when you’re almost alive as if life’s a living hell to you and you just don’t know what else is in store for you. But, hear me out, it’s your battle and you’ve always fought it valiantly so far, and now perhaps it’s time for you to move on, as that’ll be the safest and best option for you. Also, unless and until you move on you wouldn’t know what lies in store for you. Of course, we’ll say that the future is bright and you have every right to lead a beautiful life.

Addressing the elephant in the room is it easy at all? Can you forget all of your fond memories and just look ahead? No, not at all, nothing is so easy as it appears. But, as they say sometimes the best decision that you’ll ever take for yourself is to move on and this time you won’t hold anyone else accountable but yourself.

So, please do a favour on yourself — stop overthinking because it’ll do you so much harm that you probably can never imagine yourself to be in, and please move on. Just move on with self confidence, integrity and firm vigour, and only then would you be identified with yourself once again and you can feel, perhaps for the first time, that you’re powerful. So very powerful.

And as far as I am concerned, I’d like to take this opportunity to say that I’ve decided to move on too, and never have I felt so peaceful and content.
