Mongolian rice can be a saviour sometimes!

Hello readers!

My sincere apologies for writing after such a long gap. I had internally vowed that if not three articles a week, at least there should be two. However, the last few weeks have been really very hectic. You would get to know why soon.

These days working hours have been late, thus a health conscious person like me would often gorge into junk, just to end terms with acidity, and also to gain some solace with the fact that my dinner time doesn’t exceed 9 pm.

One such day, the health freak in me decided to stay calm, and Zomato, Swiggy, Uber Eats declined all my orders for salads. Maybe due to the incessant rains, or all health-conscious people had turned unhealthy that day. Also, when your budget is not more than 200 bucks. The best deal I could crack that night was a Mongolian rice bowl worth 166 bucks. And, even then too it was showing an ETA of 45 minutes!

Right before my eyes, I could see piles of work to be completed, and where my food was also playing hide and seek! By now, the healthy part of me was shouting out loud that calories wouldn’t be an issue tonight. On the other hand, the health freak inside was conscious of the calories…

The Mongolian rice arrived finally. I literally dived into it and after a very long time, gluttony paved its way through. The only colleague who stayed back with me that day said that the quantity was much beyond my consumption. I literally paid no heed, and straight away began munching the rice.

The result?

Well, it seemed after a long time that I turned out productive post 9 pm. Typically, post 9 pm is either reserved for Netflix or curling up around a book. This was probably after a very long time that I could actually be fruitful.

Well, leaving the calorie part, Mongolian rice can be a blessing sometimes!
